We’re working on estimating the total weight of the frame. We have a material spreadsheet we’ve developed over the past decade includes every bike material ever used along with all the relevant engineering data. With this spreadsheet we can get accurate within about 2% of the actual frame weight.
The reason there is any variation is because small variations in tubing add up to large variations in frame weight. We’ll post some examples later.
