The first production ISP insert. It’s a simple part but kind of interesting. Here’s a few reasons: :: It is removable—so the customer can cut the ISP if so chosen. :: It is a reinforcing piece for the external saddle clamp.:: The part is a composite design: an aluminum and delrin combination. It would have been simpler to make the part in monolithic aluminum but by including an insert of delrin, the part is lighter.
